Global City Connect (GCC) successfully hosted the China-Africa Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Conference in Beijing on May 14, 2026, bringing together Chinese enterprises, international development leaders, and industry representatives to explore practical cooperation opportunities across Africa.
The event was organized by GCC, co-hosted by WideUnion Partners — GCC’s Compliance Department — and supported by the China Brand Innovation and Development Project, which serves as GCC’s Brand Department.
The conference featured Dr. Djibril Diallo, Chairman of GCC Africa City Hubs, former spokesperson for the President of the United Nations General Assembly, and President of the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN), together with Martin Wang, Founder and Executive President of GCC. The event was moderated by GCC Secretary-General Ms. Queenie Qiao.
Representatives from leading Chinese enterprises in renewable energy, rail transit, smart manufacturing, construction engineering, healthcare technology, digital trade, and other sectors participated in the closed-door dialogue and business matchmaking sessions.
